Shiva’s practical experience is as vast as his academic contributions, having conducted penetration testing, dark web assessments, vulnerability assessments, and enterprise risk assessments for numerous multi-million-dollar enterprises across the Energy, Technology, and Financial sectors. Recognized as one of the only Dark Web, Data Leak, and Ransomware Researchers and subject-matter experts in the Caribbean, Shiva brings a unique and critical perspective to the field of cybersecurity. With 20 years of experience, Shiva is a veritable InfoSec subject matter expert, whose insights have been sought after by multiple media-houses on topics such as ransomware, data leaks as he is one of the only publishers of a CARICOM and Caribbean Ransomware report.

Shiva is also a dedicated Cyber mentor for Springboard USA, and is committed to nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity talent. Holding an MSC in Network Security and over 20 international IT and Cybersecurity certifications, including the prestigious Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) certifications, Shiva’s qualifications are both extensive and impressive.
