Carolina González-Velosa is a senior specialist in the Labor Markets and Social Security Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Her areas of expertise include employment, work skills training, and social security. At the IDB, Carolina has participated in research projects and in the design and implementation of interventions in Chile, Colombia, Panama, Peru and Trinidad and Tobago. Her work has been published in academic journals and in IDB flagship publications. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland.
