The Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad & Tobago (HRMATT) partnered with Patient Connect at the annual Jingle & Mingle event on December 8th to advocate for improved employee health and wellness across T&T.
This collaboration highlights the growing importance of workplace wellness and the innovative solutions being offered by Patient Connect.

Speaking at the event, HRMATT president Cavelle Joseph-St Omer emphasised the significant impact an employee wellness hub could have on the mental and physical health of employees.
“With telehealth services, employees can now address minor medical and mental health issues remotely, reducing waiting times, saving transportation costs, and ensuring more efficient care,” she said.
Joseph-St Omer commended Patient Connect for its visionary leadership in developing wellness solutions tailored for HRMATT members and introducing the One Caribbean Wellness platform, which she described as transformative for the corporate and state sector alike.

The annual Jingle & Mingle, hosted by Patient Connect CEO Dr Navi Muradali, brought together representatives from health and wellness sectors, corporate T&T, NGOs, and the media.
In his holiday message, Dr Muradali urged attendees to be mindful of their diet, alcohol consumption, and exercise habits during the Christmas season to avoid the surge of health challenges that clinics and hospitals often face in the new year. He also highlighted the availability of mental health resources through the Ministry of Health and Patient Connect’s new AI-powered One Caribbean Wellness platform, which is set to launch its full version in 2025.

“This platform is a comprehensive digital ecosystem connecting individuals, businesses, and health service providers across the Caribbean to affordable, accessible health and wellness services,” said Dr Muradali, a former City Medical Officer at the San Fernando City Corporation.
HARCON Group chairman and managing director Ermath Harrington also brought greetings to the audience, calling on corporate T&T to support Patient Connect’s health and wellness ecosystem.
“This initiative will bring numerous benefits to residents and help manage healthcare costs effectively,” he noted.

Also attending the event were representatives of Cable & Wireless, CANTO, Sagicor Life, the Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Port-of-Spain, Gentle Dentistry, Lab Medica Group of Companies, Newtown Medical Centre, and Premier Heart Care, among others.
This year’s Jingle & Mingle was proudly sponsored by Ultrapharm Limited, Optometrists Today, and Physician’s Pharmaceuticals.
